Around the age of eleven, Sean began experiencing a series of recurring minor seizes multiple times a year. Despite the need for medical care, he felt a fear that consulting his loved ones or a doctor might lead to institutionalization. At such a young age, he self diagnosed himself simply as a person consumed by demons. It was only after experiencing his first grand mal seizure about ten years later that medical treatment began. After a series of tests, Sean was officially diagnosed with epilepsy. After an agonizing trial and error with numerous medications, Sean is now seizure free when taking his nightly dose of Depakote.

With the relief of finally having his epilepsy in control, Sean now focuses a great deal of his time channeling those experiences with epilepsy into graphite drawings.

Sean is currently appreciative to have Dr. Kuzniecky as his neurologist.
